Los Angeles boasts some of the most beautiful mountain ranges, biodiversity, and urban parks in the world – and we’re ready to get your students out there in a fun and safe way! We’ll explore age-appropriate hikes with a mix of sensory awareness games, natural history journaling, and teamwork activities along the way.Â
Our combination of experienced and friendly staff, spectacular outdoor classrooms, community building techniques, and long-term mentorship will provide your child with connections to nature, their peers, and themselves.Â
These adventures bring what students are learning in the classroom into an exciting real-world context, and give them the depth of experience you always wanted for them. They may even discover a new subject or passion!
Program Duration – 9 Weeks (Oct 12th – Dec 14th)
*No After School during the following dates: 11/22 – 11/26. We will have a week-long full-day offering during that week, just like our summer program!

Days & Times:
Tuesday’s | 2:15 – 5:15 PM
2:15 – 2:30 PM – Student Drop-off/Sign-inÂ
2:30 – 3:15 PM – Group Circle + Intros + Plan for Day, followed by Hiking/Activities
3:15 – 3:30 PM – Snack Break
3:30 – 5:00 PM – More Hiking to Nature Journaling / Nature Craft program spaces
5:00 – 5:15 PM – Hike back to the trailhead for Closing Circle, Gratitude Share, and Student Pick-up/Sign-out

Where will my kids go?Â
We will send out a list of locations for your group to see proposed pins for drop-off/pick-up within the Laurel and Franklin Canyon park and natural spaces!
