Originally from Los Angeles, Olivia Glaser (she/her) is excited to explore the outdoors with children! She has worked with children for several years on both land and water. This allowed her to develop a strong passion for environmental and outdoor education while studying Environmental Studies and Sociology at Skidmore College. After graduating, she spent a year in Moab, Utah teaching high school food and agriculture classes. During this time, she cemented her sense of belonging and comfort in the outdoors by spending her weekends’ hiking, mountain biking, and exploring Southeastern Utah.
Since returning to Los Angeles, Olivia looks forward to engaging with young people about the natural world as she feels it is a wonderful way to develop social-emotional skills and expand one’s comfort zone. She is also passionate about connecting kids with their local food system and natural history. When she’s not working with children, Olivia can be found running, biking, crocheting, or at the beach with a good book.
