Boaz Solorio

Teacher

Boaz Solorio (he/him/his) is an amateur Wildlife Photographer and aspiring Entomologist, who predominantly specializes in invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians native to Southern California. For the past 4 years, he has studied insects and arachnids both in the field and at home.

His passion for learning has inspired him to educate others about the natural world, in order to further inspire others to value and appreciate life even on the smallest of scales. It is his belief that the world can vastly benefit from observing and understanding our neighboring species, that through learning from their lifestyles and behaviors, we can implement lessons from them into our own lives.

Boaz volunteered at the Aquarium Of The Pacific as an Ambassador Husbandry Specialist and has also given presentations to classrooms from grades 3rd-5th.

Nowadays, he spends his time venturing out into the open spaces, photographing and documenting our native insects, arachnids, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and mammals.

He’s thrilled to share his passion, and knowledge with all kinds of humans with Biocitizen.
